Project Overview

Trueharmony, an established aesthetic salon with multiple outlets in Singapore and Malaysia, recognized the need to modernize its digital presence to attract a younger clientele and keep pace with its expansion. The brand’s existing website, built since 2006 was outdated and not responsive, which affected its ability to engage effectively with potential customers online.

Trueharmony, despite a strong presence with multiple outlets in Singapore and Malaysia, faced significant challenges in attracting younger clients due to its outdated online presence. The original website, built 7-8 years ago, was not responsive and appeared visually dated, which did not resonate with the digital expectations of modern consumers. This lack of a contemporary and engaging digital interface hindered the salon’s ability to effectively showcase its services and expand its customer base amid rapid physical expansion.

Solution:

To address these issues, I led a comprehensive redesign of Trueharmony’s outdated website to attract a younger demographic, maintaining brand consistency with original colors while enhancing the site with a cream textured background for a warm, inviting feel. The revamped site is fully responsive with streamlined navigation and a dynamic content management system that allows for regular updates with educational material and interactive features. These enhancements simplify appointment scheduling and improve user engagement, transforming the website into a sophisticated platform that supports Trueharmony’s expansion and appeals to a broader customer base.

In response to Trueharmony’s needs, I led the redesign of their entire website, aiming to reflect the salon’s ethos of enhancing natural beauty rather than fixing imperfections. The new design retains the brand’s original color palette, maintaining consistency with the physical outlets, while introducing a cream textured background that incorporates white space without appearing bland. This approach ensures the website aligns more with a luxury salon than a clinical setting.
