Project Overview

Workwiz Application revolutionises the hiring process within Singapore’s healthcare sector by seamlessly connecting top-tier healthcare professionals. Such as locum doctors, clinic administrators, and nurses, with leading clinics across the nation. This application transforms traditional, cumbersome hiring practices into a streamlined, automated, and secure digital platform.

Problem:

In Singapore’s healthcare sector, clinics typically hire part-time professionals, such as locum doctors and clinic admins, by sending out availability and pay details via group messages on platforms like Telegram and WhatsApp. This method often results in a chaotic first-come, first-served hiring process, where many suitable applicants are overlooked and some job postings remain unfilled due to their visibility being buried under newer listings.

Solution:

The Workwiz app resolves these inefficiencies by transforming the ad-hoc job posting and application process into a streamlined, automated system. The app allows clinics to create detailed job listings and enables healthcare professionals to update their profiles and apply for shifts directly. It features advanced filtering options to match candidates with clinics based on specific requirements and includes functionality to track work hours and calculate earnings accurately. This simplifies the hiring process and ensures that every listing is visible and accessible, maximizing employment opportunities and operational efficiency.

As the Product and Creative Lead for the Workwiz application, I was instrumental in transforming the traditional hiring practices within Singapore’s healthcare sector. My responsibilities included overseeing the product strategy, user experience design, and the overall management of the application’s development. I ensured that the app not only met the functional requirements of our users but also provided a delightful and intuitive user experience that aligned with our vision of streamlining healthcare professional placements.

The design system of Workwiz is crafted to embody the blend of modern technology with user-centric functionality. We utilized a palette inspired by medical professionalism and trust, incorporating shades like Celadon Blue and Malibu to evoke a sense of calm and reliability. The typography, Sofia Sans, was chosen for its readability and modern appeal, which enhances the overall user interface. Each element of the app, from the dashboard to the notification system, is designed to ensure ease of use and to enhance the user experience, making every interaction efficient and pleasant.

The development of Workwiz centered on creating intuitive features that streamline the healthcare staffing process. A dynamic profile management system and an advanced job matching algorithm ensure accurate and efficient placements. Real-time booking and automated attendance tracking simplify scheduling and payroll, transforming traditional hiring methods into a seamless digital experience.
