Project Overview

VPay bridges the gap between crypto and real-world use by offering virtual cards for direct spending and an AI agent that tracks both Web2 and Web3 assets. Launched on Virtuals as a decentralized OmniBank, it lets users connect wallets, monitor portfolios, unlock tier perks, and manage their finances seamlessly across ecosystems.

Launched on Virtuals as a decentralized OmniBank, it lets users connect wallets, monitor portfolios, unlock tier perks, and manage their finances seamlessly across ecosystems.

Problem:

Most Web3 platforms struggle with real-world integration.They either,


  • Focus too much on speculative tokens without practical utility
  • Lack the infrastructure to support real-world spending
  • Feel overly complex, alienating mainstream users


There’s also a fragmentation of financial visibility. Users are forced to manage assets across multiple wallets, chains, and platforms without a central assistant or dashboard.

Solution:

VPay redefines what a modern crypto finance product should be:


  • Virtual card infrastructure for real-world spending
  • Multi-chain wallet support (MetaMask, Solana, etc.)
  • AVA – an AI finance agent that tracks and reports asset activity across chains and Web2 finance tools
  • A smooth, Web2-like interface, making it intuitive even for crypto newcomers
  • Tiered ecosystem with reward points, cashback, and launch perks


By unifying all these layers, VPay delivers a product that feels like a traditional neobank, but is fully powered by decentralized tech.

As the Creative & Product Lead, I was involved from day one, driving both the brand and product design direction. Responsibilities included:


  • Branding: Created the VPay identity, mascot, logo, and tone
  • UI/UX: Designed the complete product flow for mobile & web
  • Motion & Visuals: Directed cinematic assets, animations, and tier illustrations
  • Product: Helped shape user journeys across onboarding, staking, KYC, and AI interactions
  • Launch Strategy: Created all public-facing launch visuals and campaign content


Results:


  • 180% overpledged on launch
  • Reached $1M FDV within 48 hours
  • Successfully positioned VPay as the most utility-driven launch on Virtuals

  • Emotion-led UI moments using the brand mascot
  • Bold typography and tier-based color codes for visual clarity


The website functions as both a pitch layer and a portal for onboarding into the VPay ecosystem.

  • Educate users clearly on how VPay works as a decentralized OmniBank
  • Emphasize real-world card utility and AI finance support
  • Drive pledges through Virtuals with clear CTAs
  • Stay mobile-first, cinematic, and brand-aligned with motion-supported interactions
  • Create the feel of a premium neobank, while retaining the tech-forward energy of Web3


Important Note:

For the initial launch version, the website was intentionally kept “dumb”. Earning it avoided over-explaining or previewing future features that were still in discussion or under development.
